چکیده
In the last 10 years, community of La Mesa de Macaracas (central Panama) has experienced considerable aftershocks due to earthquakes magnitudes up 5.7 Mw. Although most consists single-storey houses, agricultural development in region led multistorey building projects. To determine whether characteristics soils could affect future construction study area, 16 stations were established measure ambient vibrations and estimate predominant frequencies their corresponding H / V ratio peaks through noise id="M3"> spectral technique. According site class by Japan Road Association, results revealed existence (a) soft soil with a range between 0.7 1.6 Hz, (b) medium 2.1 2.4 (c) hard 2.6 2.9 Hz. first type (soft), resonance effect constructions 6 14 storeys id="M4"> peak values (amplification factor) 4.3, while second third types (medium soils), buildings 3 5 be affected, id="M5"> (1.5–2.0) except at SS-9 station. These complemented id="M6"> s 30 obtained four seismic soundings carried out site.

The effect of math education on increasing math skills in children with autism using ABA method
Objectives: Mathematics is one of the most important areas of the educational structure for students with severe and multiple disabilities, including autism. Acquiring math skills for children with autism is much more difficult than reading and writing. These children have more difficulty processing mathematical information than reading and writing. Limitations in the field of identifying effec...

Mathematics is a fundamental tool of research. Although potentially applicable in every discipline, the amount of training in mathematics that students typically receive varies greatly between different disciplines. In those disciplines where most researchers do not master mathematics, the use of mathematics may be held in too much awe. To demonstrate this I conducted an online experiment with ...

We present the material in a slightly different order than it is usually done (such as e.g. in the course book). Here we prefer to start out with an abelian C∗-algebra A (say, the algebra C∗(a) generated by a normal operator a ∈ B(H)) and construct from it the spectral measure. This is done as follows: We know that A is isomorphic to C(X), the algebra of continuous functions on a compact set X....

For a general vector space V , and a linear operator T , we have already asked the question “when is there a basis of V consisting only of eigenvectors of T?” – this is exactly when T is diagonalizable. Now, for an inner product space V , we know how to check whether vectors are orthogonal, and we know how to define the norms of vectors, so we can ask “when is there an orthonormal basis of V co...
